Airport / Kandy
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and head to Kandy, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Spice & Herbal Garden in Mawanella. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, explore the bustling Kandy Bazaar and Gem Museum, and end the day with a vibrant cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya with stops at the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, famous for its vibrant orchids and lush greenery. Along the way, visit the serene Hanuman Temple, the picturesque Ramboda Falls, and a Tea Factory to learn about Sri Lanka's tea heritage. Enjoy a leisurely evening at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya to Bentota
After breakfast, begin your journey to Bentota via Colombo. Along the way, explore Gregory Lake Park, the historic Seetha Amman Temple, Old Colonial Buildings, the Race Course, and Golf Course in Nuwara Eliya, the highest town in Sri Lanka. Marvel at Devon Falls and St. Clair Falls before stopping at Kitulgala, where you can enjoy white-water rafting and other serene activities in its lush, natural setting. Arrive at Bentota for an overnight stay.
Start your day with a serene Madu River boat ride, navigating through lush mangroves and a cluster of small islands, including Ma Doowa and Satha Paha Doowa. Visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation and witness efforts to protect endangered species. Enjoy exciting water sports like Jet Skiing, Banana Rides, and Tube Rides before heading to Colombo for an overnight stay.
